How to Search VMenu
VMenu is a menu directory — the fastest way to answer “where should we eat?” Here’s how to get the most out of it.
1One search box for restaurants, dishes, and cities
The Search page handles it all: type a restaurant name (“Zip’s”), a dish (“enchilada”), an ingredient (“avocado”), a craving (“cheesecake”) — even another city (“Bellevue”) to switch locations. Dish results show every nearby restaurant that serves it, with prices.
2Filter the directory by what matters
On the Restaurants page you can filter by cuisine, by features like patio seating, full bar, delivery, or reservations, and by whether a place is open right now or opening soon.
3Use the 1999 feature filters
Our feature set — credit cards, checks, buffet, carry out, drive thru, beer, wine, mixed drinks, full bar, reservations, patio — has been helping diners pick restaurants since 1999. Check the boxes and narrow it down.
4Check Open Now before you go
The Open Now page shows live open/closed status from each restaurant’s posted hours, plus a list of places opening within the next 30 minutes. Hours can change for holidays, so call ahead for special occasions.
5Browse specials and coupons
The Specials page groups deals into coupons, seasonal specials, daily specials, and happy hours. Read the terms — some deals have day or time restrictions.
6Read the reviewers, then become one
The Most Active Reviewers page shows who’s eating out and writing about it. Reviews are from real diners — no paid placements. Create a free account to save favorites and write your own.
7Search a city name to switch cities
VMenu is city-based. Heading out of town? Use the location switcher to browse the directory for another city.
8Can’t find a restaurant? Suggest it
If a favorite spot is missing, use Suggest a Menu and we’ll track down the menu and add it. Suggestions are reviewed by a real person.
